Course Info: The BAIRD Evidence Based & Clinical Course in Implant Dentistry, is one of the most successful private courses in implant dentistry in The United Kingdom where participants receive sound grounding knowledge in implant dentistry as well as practical training on patients provided by the course under direct mentoring at no extra cost . We are running the course for the 18th year with wonderful feedback from past graduates who are already placing and restoring implants with great confidence at their own dental practices.

What is the length and content of the course and what are the dates?
The course is comprised of 9 modules:*
- Module 1 (17-18-19th October 2025) : Introduction into Implant Dentistry , Success Criteria, Pink aesthetics & Treatment Planning.
- Module 2 (21-22-23rd November 2025) : Cone Beam CT Scan Training, Surgical Planning for Implant Cases & Surgical Principles in Implant Dentistry.
- Module 3 (12-13-14th December 2025) : Risk Analysis, Medical Problems in Dentistry, Periodontal Management, Bone Grafting Principles, Socket Grafting & Patients Selection in Implant Dentistry.
- Module 4 (16-17-18th January 2026) : Bone and Soft Tissue Healing Principles in Implant Dentistry, Medico-legal Considerations and Dental Implant Photography
- Module 5:( Group A 6/7/8th Febuary 2026 and Group B – 13/14/15th Febuary 2026 ) Live Implant Surgery, Cases Planning & Clinical Training on Course Patients.
- Module 6 (24-25-26th April 2026) : Prosthetic Principles in Implant Dentistry& Updates in Evidence Based Practice in Implant Dentistry.
- Module 7 (29-30-31st May 2026) : Advanced Prosthetic principles and impressions in implant dentistry & Occlusion in Implant Dentistry

– Full Registration Fees : £11500 + VAT (20%) in total £13 800- This will be spread over of 10 instalments of £1220 on the 1st day of each month by bank transfer addition to the non refundable deposit of *£1650 which should be paid at the time of submitting your application.

Each participant will be allocated one patient case to follow from A to Z during out the course. Participants will plan, place and restore the implant(s) for this patient. Additionally they will assist during implant placement of a further two patients and observe implant placement in more than 10 patients during the 9 modules in Leeds.
We also offer participants the option to bring their own patient(s) to Leeds. As part of the curriculum participants can place upto 5 extra implants, under mentorship, in Leeds, for patients that they refer to the academy. These patients are able to take advantage of a discounted treatment price and there is no additional cost to participants for mentoring.
We also have an optional module abroad, where each participant can place a minimum of 5 implants and assist and observe more than 12 implant placements. This is a three day residential module that is offered at an additional cost of approximately £3,500* including accommodation.
We also provide an exclusive integrated mentoring scheme all over the UK. This allows participants to place implants in patients at their own practice, with the support of BAIRD mentors. This mentorship is offered to BAIRD delegates at a discounted rate.

The course clinical training will be carried out on patients provided by the course in The UK and during the course days at no extra charge. This optional module is available for those who would like to boost their clinical experience & confidence as each participant will be placing minimal of 5 implants under direct supervision and get involved in the planning and assisting in more than 12 implants. Alternatively, some delegates prefer to invest in the nationwide mentoring scheme when BAIRD mentors offer you one to one support to place implants at your own practice at a discounted fee.
While this is an evidence based course aimed to teaching basic and advanced princes in implant dentistry during the theory seminars and hands on workshops, the clinical training on patients in The UK will be carried out using the world-renowned implant system; MegaGen Dental Implants and Botiss Bone Regeneration material. Both bone level and tissue level implants will be provided and training will be offered on various types of bone biomaterials.
In order to meet the GDC regulations for practicing implant dentistry in the UK, there will be modular quizzes at the beginning of each module covering the material from the previous module. In addition there is a final summative assessment which comprises of a multiple choice question exam and presentation and discussion of a patient case portfolio in a viva examination.
All study materials will be provided as part of the course. Each participant will receive pre-module reading material as well as the reading material of the lectures and some highly recommended up to date articles to read from. There will be no need for you to buy or look for any external sources.
In order to meet the GDC regulations for practicing implant dentistry in The UK, there will be modular quizzes at the beginning of each module covering the material of the module before , in addition to the Final be formative theory assessment which will be comprised of a theory exam and cases presentation with cases discussion viva exam as part of the final module.
Successful graduates will be awarded BAIRD Post Graduate Certificate in evidence based and clinical implant dentistry with 200 verifiable CPD hours. CPD CERTIFICATES TO BE ISSUED BY Megagen
BAIRD graduates are highly encouraged to accred their BAIRD course towards The University Postgraduate Diploma from San Raffaelle University in Milan by attending bridging the gap course in Milan. This course is of 4 intensive days followed by an exam. The course fees are £4250 and more info will be provided from San Rafael University.
The next group for the Postgraduate University Diploma in Implant Dentistry in San Rafael University - Milan will be announced for the Summer of 2025
Course will cover the following topics - Digital Smile Design - Fully guided implant surgery - Immediate placement & loading - Full arch implant surgeries and restoration - Sinus grafting - Tilted implants in full arch rehabilitation - Soft tissue grafting in implant dentistry. The course is delivered by lecturers from San Rafael University via seminars, live surgeries and workshops. This course is exclusive to BAIRD Academy Graduates. The university is located in the outskirts of city of Milan and you can get the train easily. Delegates have to arrange their own transport and accommodation, but arrangement can be made to help with the university hotel booking at a discounted price Course fees £4250 and a deposit of £2000 will be required to save your seat.
