Each course delegate will be assigned an implant patient for treatment during the course modules at no additional cost. This exceptional clinical training opportunity enables delegates to develop a comprehensive treatment plan, analyse the patient’s CBCT scan, perform the surgical placement of dental implants, and complete the restoration process under direct one-to-one mentorship.

At BAIRD Academy, we recognise that clinical mentoring is fundamental to mastering dental implantology. Our structured approach provides hands-on experience and expert guidance, fostering both confidence and competence in real-world practice. To support your professional development, we offer additional three tailored mentoring programs:
1. In-House Mentoring
Designed for course delegates focusing on foundational knowledge and fundamental implant placement techniques, this program allows each participant to refer up to three cases for surgical implant placement by themselves at the academy under direct, one-on-one mentorship. Patients referred through this scheme will benefit from a significantly discounted treatment fee of £1,500 (reduced from £2,750), covering the assessment, CBCT scan, wax-up model, and implant placement visit. Following the initial treatment, delegates will have the opportunity to monitor their patients and complete the restoration process at their own practice under remote mentoring.
2. Mentoring at Your Own Practice
This program enables dentists to refine their skills through supervised implant procedures and case planning within their own practice environment. Ideal for course graduates seeking to establish a safe and successful implant service at their own dental practices, this mentoring pathway provides the support of a dedicated local mentor who will visit your practice to guide you through the process. Our nationwide mentors are carefully selected from our distinguished alumni and are committed to supporting dentists using the principles taught at BAIRD Academy. The current discounted rate for this service is £1,750 per mentoring day, plus travel expenses for the assigned mentor.
3. Residential Clinical Training Module
BAIRD also offers an optional residential clinical training module in our BAIRD Academy partners in Amman-Jordan, where each participant place a minimal of 5dental implants and assist and observe more than 12 implants during this three day residential module.This module is offered at extra cost of around £3750 including full board 5 nights accommodation in Amman , trip to Dead Sea, Day in Petra and transport while in Jordan .

Hassan Maghaireh
Dr Hassan Maghaireh is a leading figure in implant dentistry and the driving force behind the BAIRD Academy. As Principal Implant Dentist at Leeds Dental Implant & Cosmetic Clinic, he combines clinical excellence with a deep commitment to education, mentorship and advancing surgical standards across the UK and beyond. A passionate teacher and mentor, Hassan is dedicated to guiding the next generation of implant rising stars. His calm, evidence based approach has made him one of the most sought-after educators in the field. Hassan regularly speaks on international stages as a Key Opinion Leader for Straumann, Botiss Biomaterials and Megagen, sharing his insights on soft tissue management, advanced grafting and full arch rehabilitation. He also holds academic posts at the University of Birmingham and University of Manchester, and contributes to Cochrane reviews and peer reviewed journals. At BAIRD, his leadership continues to raise the standard of implant training, empowering delegates with the confidence and skills to excel.
Victoria Ivancheva
Dr Victoria Ivancheva plays a key leadership role at BAIRD, known not only for her clinical expertise but for the warmth and compassion she brings to every learning environment. As Course Leader, she is deeply committed to helping delegates feel supported, valued and confident throughout their implant journey. With a background in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, and postgraduate training from the Medical University of Sofia, Victoria combines meticulous attention to detail with a calm and approachable teaching style. She has a unique ability to break down complex concepts and create a safe space where delegates feel comfortable asking questions, building their knowledge and developing hands-on skills without pressure or judgement. A former ITI Young Ambassador and an active member of the BAIRD Scientific Committee, Victoria also lectures nationally and internationally, always championing supportive mentorship as the key to long-term clinical success.
Giuseppe La Rocca
Dr Giuseppe La Rocca (GDC 185725) is a skilled associate at Harley Private Dental in Sheffield, based in Nether Edge . He offers a comprehensive range of services—including general, cosmetic and implant dentistry—and is particularly passionate about surgical implant care and aesthetic smile design. Giuseppe is known for his meticulous attention to detail and warm chairside manner. His calm, supportive approach makes complex procedures feel approachable—qualities that define his mentoring at BAIRD. He guides delegates through all stages of implant treatment, sharing his patient-focused philosophy and technical insights to help them develop both competence and confidence.
Hassan Kamal
Dr Hassan Kamal began his dental journey at the University of Birmingham, earning his BDS. He then pursued postgraduate specialisation—completing an MSc in Endodontology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Implantology through the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry. Having placed hundreds of implants, Hassan excels in advanced bone manipulation techniques such as guided bone regeneration, ridge expansion and sinus lifts. He’s skilled in digital workflows, including pilot- and fully guided surgery, and delivers life-changing immediate full-arch implant cases . His endodontic practice is equally advanced using microscopy, piezo ultrasonic tools and thermal obturation to treat complex root canal and surgical endodontic cases. Known for his calm, empathetic chairside manner, Hassan is dedicated to easing patient anxiety and relieving pain—whether saving teeth through root canals or restoring function with implants . He’s a valued member of the International Team for Implantology and the British Endodontic Society, maintaining clinical excellence through ongoing education and journal review.Outside clinical life, Hassan is a devoted father of three, passionate about cars, travel and spending quality time with family and friends.
Pramit Patel
I am a dentist based in London and the surrounding home counties providing dental implant services. I began my journey with BAIRD and have attended multiple courses and seminars since.Outside of dentistry, I am a keen fitness enthusiast. Happy to help and mentor anyone with the right mindset and drive to make it happen!
Joe Harvey
Dr Joe Harvey earned his BDS from King’s College London in 2017 and holds a BSc in Physiology. He further enhanced his expertise with a postgraduate diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Since joining Hunts Cross Dental Centre in 2018, Joe has become a trusted provider of single and full‑arch implants. Known for his relaxed, reassuring chairside manner, he excels at helping nervous patients feel at ease—many praise his clear explanations and compassionate care. When he’s not enhancing smiles, Joe enjoys sport—particularly squash, tennis and golf—and regularly donates his time abroad supporting dental missions in the Philippines. He even hosts free implant consultations every Thursday at the practice, helping potential patients make informed decisions

Mayank Morar
Principal Dentist at True Dentistry in Bolton, Dr Mayank Morar brings a wealth of clinical experience and a calm, patient-focused approach to the BAIRD mentoring team. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality, ethical dentistry, Mayank supports delegates in developing both their technical skills and clinical confidence. He’s especially known for his supportive teaching style and dedication to helping others grow in implant dentistry
Hind Sinan
Implantologist & Laser Dentistry Specialist at Mydentist.Dr Hind Sinan first qualified in Dentistry from Baghdad College of Dentistry in 2002 and holds full registration with the UK General Dental Council . She went on to achieve her MJDF diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and in 2016 completed implant studies with both the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the British Academy of Implant Dentistry . Passionate about precision care, she also earned a Mastership in Laser Dentistry from Aachen University in Germany after working alongside pioneers in the field. As Implant Clinical Development Advisor at Mydentist, Hind supports surgical best practice and championing laser technology in patient care . Known affectionately as “The Laser Dentist,” her mentoring style is rooted in calm authority and clinical excellence. She excels in teaching advanced workflows for implants, laser therapies—from gum contouring to minor oral procedures—and complex surgical cases.
Bogdan Burghelea
Dr Bogdan qualified as a dentist in 2002 at the University of Constanta, Romania, and joined the mydentist network in 2009 to serve the Teesside community . With a special interest in implant dentistry, he has completed a PG Certificate in Implants (2019), an Advanced Bone Grafting Masterclass (2020), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Implant Dentistry (2023), equipping him to handle complex restorative cases and offer implant referrals . As the in‑house implantologist at Hartlepool, Dr Bogdan provides everything from implants to dentures, crowns and bridges with calm professionalism and patient‑centred care . His structured mentoring approach at BAIRD empowers delegates to master both surgical placement and restorative workflows. Chia Yeoh
With a passion for excellence in restorative and implant dentistry, I specialise in implant placement, soft tissue management, and advanced restorative techniques. My approach integrates digital workflows, including 3D printing, to enhance precision and predictability in treatment planning and execution. As a dedicated mentor, I enjoy sharing insights on modern dental techniques, helping colleagues refine their skills in digital dentistry, implantology and aesthetic restorations. Whether guiding clinical decision-making or optimising workflows, my goal is to support dentists in delivering high quality, patient centred care.
Ahmed Tahboub
Implant Surgeon & Restorative Dentist – Charisma Clinic, Stockport (and mydentist Burnley/Lancaster). Dr Ahmed Tahboub graduated from the University of Manchester in 2013 and began his career at Manchester Dental Hospital and Manchester Royal Infirmary, working on complex restorative and maxillofacial surgery cases—especially in trauma and oral cancer reconstruction—where he discovered his passion for implant dentistry .Committed to excellence, he earned postgraduate certifications in restorative dentistry and dental implants, and secured MJDF membership through the Royal College of Surgeons . At Charisma Clinic in Stockport, Ahmed provides everything from single implants to full‑mouth and same‑day rehabilitation cases, often with IV sedation for anxious patients . Kameran Ali
Kameran graduated from Birmingham Dental School in 2018 and is deeply committed to evidence based dentistry. He takes the time to do things right and is passionate about helping patients replace missing teeth—especially implant work for those struggling with loose dentures. Known for his friendly, relaxed manner, he believes dentistry should be approachable, even injecting a bit of laughter into the chair to put patients at ease. As a BAIRD mentor, Kameran brings youthful energy, academic rigour and a compassionate, easygoing teaching style. He excels at teaching delegates the technicalities of implant placement while maintaining a supportive, humorous atmosphere in the surgical suite.
Najam Imam
Dr Naj Imam joined Riverside Dental in 2021 and brings with him over a decade of experience in both cosmetic and restorative dentistry. A graduate of King’s College London (2011), Naj has also conducted published research in dental stem cell regeneration and completed postgraduate training in prosthodontics and aesthetic medicine during his time in Australia. He achieved accreditation with the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry in 2015, is a graduate of the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry (BAIRD) in 2022 and has recently acted as an implant mentor overseas in Jordan with BAIRD. He has placed implants regularly for 10 years and has a long track record of providing high quality surgical and restorative implant treatment. With a calm, patient-focused style, Najam excels in delivering advanced smile makeovers, combining technical skill with a compassionate approach that puts both patients and delegates at ease. He’s particularly experienced in aesthetic treatments, and brings a quiet confidence and dedication to teaching—making him a valued mentor at BAIRD
Marcin Kazmierczak
Marcin qualified from Szczecin Medical Academy in 1998 and brings a wealth of experience in general dentistry. With a special interest in Minor Oral Surgery and a focus on sedation, he’s passionate about helping clinicians grow their confidence in managing complex and anxious patients. His calm, reassuring manner is a core part of his mentoring approach at BAIRD. Outside of dentistry, Marcin enjoys diving and photography.
